- Certificate in Integrative Supervision (Macclesfield Counselling and Training Centre) (2022)
- Certificate in Race, Culture and Antidiscrimination Practice (The Anti Discrimination Foundation (TADF) (2022)
In addition to working in private practice, I am also a part-time therapist at the University of Liverpool Counselling Service. I am an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Chester (2023-2026) and I worked as a senior lecturer and programme leader for the MA in Clinical Counselling at the University of Chester (2019-2022).
I have worked in a variety of locations including Jigsaw Counselling in Widnes, John Moores University, Liverpool Hope University Counselling Service, West Cheshire College and medical centres on the Wirral. I have worked with adults of different ages, genders and cultures.
I have experience of working with : anxiety, depression, work-related stress, infertility and pregnancy loss, bereavement, relationship breakdown, low self-esteem, identity, bullying and abuse.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work to their ethical framework. In addition, I am a member of the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO).

Before training as a counsellor, I worked as a researcher and lecturer for over fifteen years. I have a doctorate in social sciences.
